ShakelStore ("we", "us", "our") provides an orders management dashboard for e-commerce and cash-on-delivery (COD) sellers. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using ShakelStore, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of information necessary to operate your account securely:

Account credentials: When you sign up, we collect your email address and a password (stored using industry-standard hashing — we never store your password in plain text).

Store connection data: If you connect a Google Sheets-based store, we store the Apps Script URL you provide so the dashboard can read and update your order data on your behalf.

Order data: Customer names, phone numbers, addresses, and order details that you or your connected store provide are displayed within your dashboard. This data originates from your own store/sheet and is not collected independently by us.

We do not collect payment card numbers, government ID numbers, precise real-time location, biometric data, or any sensitive personal information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Authenticate your account and keep your session secure.
• Allow you to view, manage, and update your own orders.
• Enable optional integrations you explicitly configure, such as WhatsApp (ShakelChat) or SMS (SeftSMS) messaging, using API credentials that you provide and control.
• Improve the reliability and performance of the dashboard.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the service you signed up for.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or your customers' data to any third party, for any purpose, at any time.

Your data is only shared in these limited circumstances:

• With services you explicitly connect — for example, if you enter your own WhatsApp or SMS provider API keys, messages are sent directly through that provider using your credentials. We do not share this data with any other party.
• With Google APIs — if you connect a Google Sheet, data exchange with Google's servers is necessary to read/write your order data, in accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
• If required by law — we may disclose information if legally compelled to do so by a valid legal process, and only to the extent required.

We do not spy on, monitor, or analyze the content of your messages or customer data for any purpose beyond displaying it to you within your own dashboard.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL) between your browser and our servers.
• Secure password hashing — passwords are never stored or transmitted in plain text.
• Access controls limiting who can view stored credentials and configuration data.
• Regular review of our systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

While we work to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you may contact us using the details below, and we will remove your account information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required for legal or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention).

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for optional integrations (WhatsApp/SMS) at any time by removing the connected API credentials in Settings.

8. Children's Privacy

ShakelStore is intended for business use by adult sellers and is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of ShakelStore after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
